Internet Computer Holds $3.40 Support Amid Consolidation
Internet Computer (ICP) stayed above the $3.40 support zone on Monday, though early session volume spikes failed to push the token into a sustained breakout.
The token traded in a $0.20 intraday range, or roughly 5.7% volatility, reflecting ongoing consolidation after last week’s rebound from multiday lows, according to CoinDesk Research. ICP briefly approached $3.55 on a volume surge of 1.04 million tokens—about 31% above the seven-day average—but momentum waned, leaving the price to drift between $3.43 and $3.48. A dip to $3.41 quickly found support, reinforcing the $3.36–$3.40 accumulation zone.
Short-term charts show a higher-low pattern forming from Monday’s $3.36 pivot, though momentum indicators remain neutral. Minor accumulation around $3.46 between 13:00 and 14:00 UTC was insufficient to overcome resistance overhead.
A decisive move above $3.55 is needed to reignite bullish momentum. Until then, ICP remains in consolidation, with fading volume and repeated rejections signaling caution. A drop below $3.40 could shift focus to $3.30 support, while a breakout above $3.55 may open the path toward $3.60–$3.65.
