DoubleZero is expanding its market-data infrastructure by bringing Kalshi’s political and election prediction-market data to its low-latency platform, giving institutional and automated traders deeper real-time insight ahead of the U.S. midterm elections.
The new feed provides access to Kalshi’s trades, best bid and offer prices, and aggregated order-book depth across different price levels, according to the DoubleZero Foundation. The information is distributed through DoubleZero Edge, which relies on the network’s fiber infrastructure to deliver market data with minimal delay.
The addition could increase the usefulness of prediction markets for professional trading, hedging and risk-management strategies. While headline probabilities indicate how traders currently assess an event, complete order-book data provides a clearer picture of available liquidity and shows how quickly market participants adjust their positions when new developments emerge.
DoubleZero is headquartered in the Cayman Islands and operates a contributor-powered fiber network built on Solana. The infrastructure is designed to provide fast and reliable data transmission for blockchains, prediction markets and other distributed applications where latency can be important.
Kalshi is a federally regulated prediction-market exchange offering contracts tied to political, economic and other real-world events.
Midterms Fuel Prediction-Market Growth
The Nov. 3 midterm elections will determine control of the U.S. Congress during the final two years of President Donald Trump’s term. Voters will decide all 435 House seats and 33 Senate seats.
The results could have a major impact on Trump’s ability to pursue his legislative agenda and secure approval for judicial and administration nominees. A Democratic majority could instead give the party greater influence over legislation, congressional investigations and oversight of the White House.
DoubleZero co-founder Austin Federa said prediction markets are increasingly becoming sources of real-time information, but their value depends on how quickly market participants can access and respond to changing probabilities.
He noted that political developments such as debates, court decisions and breaking news can cause prediction-market prices to change within seconds. By providing Kalshi’s live order-book data through DoubleZero Edge, the company says professional traders and AI systems can process those signals quickly rather than relying on delayed market snapshots.
The integration arrives as betting activity surrounding the 2026 midterm elections continues to build.
According to Anti-Corruption Data Collective figures cited by Reuters, more than $133 million had been wagered on 2026 House and Senate races across Kalshi, Polymarket and Polymarket US as of Aug. 10.
That amount had already surpassed the $92.4 million traded across the entire 2024 congressional election cycle, highlighting the rapid growth of prediction-market activity around U.S. politics.
