Binance will discontinue Binance Pool and its associated services at 07:00 UTC on November 10, 2026, marking the end of Bitcoin mining operations through the platform.
The exchange has advised miners to redirect their equipment and switch to alternative mining pools before the deadline. Its announcement states that hashrate submissions and mining shares received after the cutoff will not be accepted, processed, or credited.
Meanwhile, BNB, the token associated with Binance and the BNB Smart Chain, was trading near $740, recording a modest decline of 0.5% over the previous 24 hours. Daily trading volume was approximately $561 million.
Binance Pool Closure: Deadlines and Requirements for Miners
The shutdown covers Binance Pool, Cloud Mining, Pool Savings, and Transaction Accelerator. Related infrastructure, including Stratum connections, mining-pool APIs, and email and Telegram notifications, will also be discontinued.
Miners must transfer their operations to another pool and close their Pool Savings accounts before the services end. Any outstanding rewards or refunds eligible for payment will be handled according to the relevant product conditions and compliance checks.
Users will be able to access their mining transaction histories until 07:00 UTC on November 24, 2026, providing an additional 14 days to review past records after the closure.
Binance has not provided a confirmed schedule for automatic payments or detailed instructions explaining how final balances will be settled. Users should consult the applicable product terms and official announcements to understand how outstanding funds will be handled.
The exchange announced the decision through its social media channels, describing it as part of a broader review of its product offerings. However, it has not explained the financial, strategic, or operational factors behind the shutdown.
While the closure date and affected services have been identified, the specific reason for the decision remains undisclosed.
Binance Shifts Focus as Mining Services Wind Down
Binance Pool launched in April 2020 and offered Bitcoin miners a Full Pay-Per-Share payment system. Its planned closure will bring the platform’s six-year involvement in mining services to an end.
At the same time, Binance continues to develop products across artificial intelligence and traditional financial markets. There is no confirmed evidence, however, that these initiatives are directly responsible for the mining pool’s discontinuation.
On October 12, Binance introduced a free AI-powered market assistant after a beta-testing phase involving approximately 150,000 users. The tool provides market information and guidance but does not carry out trades autonomously.
The exchange has also expanded its U.S. equity offerings through Nest Trading and announced plans for physically settled options covering more than 1,000 U.S. stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs).
The Block reported that Binance’s traditional-finance perpetual-futures trading volume climbed from $29.5 billion in January to $433.4 billion in August. The increase illustrates the growth of its TradFi products, although it does not explain the decision to shut down Binance Pool.
BNB Price Outlook: Support and Resistance in Focus
Separately, BNB was trading at approximately $740.27 on October 14, according to the figures cited in the report. CoinGecko data showed a 0.5% gain over 24 hours, although the token remained down 4.4% over the preceding seven days.
BNB’s market capitalization was estimated at $98.57 billion, with daily trading volume of around $555.82 million. Despite its position in the crypto market, the token was trading well below its all-time high of $1,369.99.
The $736–$718 range could provide near-term support, while resistance levels around $746 and $775 may present obstacles to a sustained recovery.
A decisive move above resistance could strengthen bullish momentum. However, if BNB falls below its support range, the risk of further losses could increase.
The token’s direction will also depend on overall cryptocurrency market sentiment and activity across the BNB Chain ecosystem. Increased adoption of applications and services on the network could help support demand for BNB.
For now, subdued trading activity suggests caution until stronger buying pressure emerges. Bitcoin’s price movement will also be an important factor in determining the broader market’s next direction.
