Bitcoin may be entering a stabilization phase as on-chain indicators reveal mounting capitulation among short-term investors. According to CryptoQuant data, newer buyers are increasingly selling at a loss—a pattern that has historically appeared near major market bottoms.
Periods of short-term holder stress often signal that speculative excess is being flushed out. When these investors exit their positions during volatile downturns, it typically reduces selling pressure and clears the way for longer-term holders to assert greater influence over price direction.
While this doesn’t confirm that a rebound is imminent, it does suggest the market is transitioning into a late-stage correction. With volatility easing and capitulation intensifying, Bitcoin could be approaching conditions that have previously preceded a more sustainable recovery.
