TRON is seeing activity across payments, philanthropy and institutional derivatives, with USDT on the network leading CoinsBee’s payment data, Justin Sun backing a $1 million mathematics and science prize, and Moscow Exchange adding TRX perpetual futures for qualified investors.
CoinsBee, a global crypto gift-card marketplace, said USDT running on TRON was its most-used onchain payment method during the 90 days through September 1, 2026. The payment method recorded roughly 1.8 times as many completed transactions as Bitcoin and about 1.9 times as many as Ethereum.
TRC-20 USDT accounted for 16.23% of all payments processed by CoinsBee in 2026 so far, compared with 9.92% during 2025. That represents a 64% increase in its share of platform payments.
The figures cover successfully completed and delivered orders between June 4 and September 1. CoinsBee’s analysis separates transaction frequency from payment value. While TRC-20 represented 44.6% of USDT payment transactions, it accounted for 64.5% of total USDT turnover, pointing to a higher average transaction value than USDT payments conducted through other supported networks.
CoinsBee serves customers in more than 180 countries, supports over 200 cryptocurrencies and offers gift cards and other products from more than 5,000 brands. The company says it has more than 500,000 customers.
The data is limited to CoinsBee’s own marketplace and should not be treated as an independently audited measure of global cryptocurrency payment activity. Still, the figures provide a snapshot of TRON’s role in stablecoin payments on the platform.
TRC-20’s relatively low transaction costs and settlement characteristics are among the factors relevant to its use as a stablecoin payment network. The data also shows a difference between transaction share and total turnover.
CoinsBee and TRON DAO are separately running a promotional campaign from September 21 to October 5, 2026. Eligible users can receive 2% off purchases paid with USDT on TRON by entering the code USDT-TRC. The discount is limited to one redemption per user and is subject to the campaign’s terms.

Moscow Exchange Introduces TRX Perpetual Futures
Moscow Exchange has expanded its crypto derivatives offering with cash-settled perpetual futures linked to BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP and TRX. The TRX contract trades under the designation TRXUSDF.
The contracts are based on USD-denominated MOEX cryptocurrency indexes, while gains and losses are settled in Russian rubles. They are rolled daily and do not involve the physical delivery of the underlying digital assets.
Access is restricted to qualified investors, placing the products within the exchange’s institutional-oriented derivatives framework.
Initial margin requirements differ by asset: BTC requires 22%, ETH 35%, SOL 38%, XRP 43% and TRX 30%.
MOEX said more than 72,000 qualified investors are already involved in its digital-asset futures market, which has recorded cumulative turnover above 600 billion rubles.
The exchange described the perpetual contracts as an expansion of its existing crypto derivatives business rather than a move to provide spot-market access. For TRX, the launch gives qualified investors another route to trade price exposure through a regulated futures product.
