CoreWeave Stock Soars 16% After $2.58B Quarter Fueled by AI Demand

CoreWeave Jumps 16% as AI Infrastructure Demand Drives Growth

CoreWeave shares rose 16% in premarket trading Wednesday after the AI computing company reported a stronger-than-expected second quarter and raised its full-year revenue forecast.

The company posted $2.58 billion in second-quarter revenue, more than twice the amount recorded a year earlier and slightly above analyst estimates. CoreWeave’s net loss narrowed to $626 million, also beating expectations.

For the third quarter, the company expects revenue of between $3.45 billion and $3.6 billion. It also increased its 2026 revenue projection to $12.4 billion-$13.2 billion.

The positive results lifted other companies exposed to the AI computing boom. IREN and Cipher Digital each gained around 5% as investors continued to favor businesses positioned to benefit from rising demand for data-center and AI capacity.

CoreWeave ended the quarter with roughly $104 billion in contracted commitments. It secured another $25 billion-plus in customer agreements after the reporting period ended, further strengthening its future revenue pipeline.

Management said recently signed contracts are generating margins about 5 to 10 percentage points higher than earlier deals. The improvement reflects tight computing capacity and stronger pricing power across the AI infrastructure market.

The results highlight the growing gap between AI infrastructure and crypto. AI computing companies continue to attract capital, customers and premium valuations, while Bitcoin and other crypto assets have struggled to generate comparable momentum, with BTC remaining below $64,000.
