Cardano Set to Showcase Blockchain and Assets on Brave Browser

Brave Browser to Integrate Cardano Blockchain, ADA Support, and Governance Features

Brave Wallet, the built-in cryptocurrency wallet for the privacy-first Brave web browser, will soon offer full support for the Cardano blockchain. This new integration will enable users to send, receive, and swap ADA ($0.81776) and other Cardano-native assets directly within the browser.

This update marks a significant expansion of Brave’s multichain capabilities, which already includes support for networks like Ethereum and Solana, as announced by Input Output (IO), the development firm behind Cardano.

Once the integration is live, Brave users will gain the ability to access Cardano’s governance features, sign transactions, and manage their assets seamlessly, all without needing third-party browser extensions.

Charles Hoskinson, CEO of IO, described this development as part of a broader initiative to enhance secure and private on-chain participation. He highlighted its importance as Cardano enters the “Voltaire” era, which focuses on decentralized governance and further strengthens the network’s autonomy.

The Cardano integration also sets the stage for future collaboration with Midnight, IO’s privacy-centric blockchain project designed around confidential smart contracts and data protection.
