XRP Price Prediction: Can Ripple Hold the Crucial $1 Support?

XRP is trading near $1.01, down about 0.6% over the past 24 hours, as the token remains stuck within a narrow $1.00-$1.02 range. Rather than confirming a recovery, the price action suggests XRP is struggling to build enough momentum for a breakout. Meanwhile, a recent bridge exploit has introduced another risk that could weigh on sentiment.

The Coreum-XRP bridge reportedly lost about 200,000 XRP after an attacker allegedly manipulated a fake deposit to initiate withdrawals. The incident prompted an emergency shutdown of the bridge and reportedly resulted in FBI involvement.

Market participants are also looking toward September and October for potential developments surrounding the CLARITY Act. Progress on the legislation could become a major catalyst for XRP, either strengthening market sentiment or adding further pressure depending on the outcome.

For now, the broader crypto market remains range-bound as traders await regulatory developments. XRP is following the same pattern, with compressed price action, limited volume and little evidence of strong buying conviction.

At approximately $1.012, XRP is trading below all four major moving averages. The 7-day, 20-day, 50-day and 200-day SMAs sit around $1.03, $1.06, $1.08 and $1.31, respectively, leaving the token in a distinctly bearish technical position.

Trading activity also remains subdued. XRP’s daily volume has slipped to around $885 million from approximately $905 million a day earlier, suggesting that market participation is losing momentum.

XRP Price Prediction: Bullish and Bearish Scenarios

The bullish outlook could gain traction if the Stochastic indicator generates a crossover from oversold territory while XRP approaches the lower Bollinger Band. Such a setup could encourage short covering and push the token toward $1.05. Positive developments surrounding the CLARITY Act could provide an additional catalyst, with some longer-term projections targeting $1.50-$1.55.

Under the base-case scenario, XRP could continue consolidating between $1.00 and $1.05 while traders wait for greater clarity on the regulatory timeline.

The bearish scenario becomes more likely if XRP loses the critical $1.00 support. A decisive breakdown could send the token toward the low-$0.90 range and weaken the broader accumulation argument.

XRP investors have successfully defended the $1.00 level since November 2025, but another bounce from this zone would not necessarily signal a trend reversal. The token remains below all of its major moving averages, keeping the broader technical structure under pressure.

Even a recovery above $1.05 would leave significant resistance overhead, particularly near $1.31. Given XRP’s large market capitalization, generating substantial percentage gains would require considerable new capital, which may encourage some traders to look toward smaller, earlier-stage infrastructure projects.
