Cboe Lists First U.S. ETFs Providing Exposure to XRP and DOGE

The first U.S. ETFs providing exposure to XRP and Dogecoin (DOGE, $0.2076) launched on Thursday.

Offered by Rex Shares and Osprey Funds, the ETFs are listed on the Cboe BZX under tickers DOJE and XRPR, following the Rex-Osprey Solana ETF debut in July. At launch, DOJE traded at $26.90 and XRPR at $25.73.

DOJE will gain exposure to DOGE through futures and derivatives via a Cayman Islands-based subsidiary, rather than holding the token directly. XRPR is structured to hold XRP directly while also investing in non-U.S. spot ETFs, according to Bloomberg Intelligence analyst James Seyffart.

XRP and DOGE are the third- and eighth-largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalization. Spot crypto ETFs first appeared in the U.S. in January 2024, beginning with bitcoin (BTC) and later ether (ETH), providing investors with crypto exposure without the need for direct custody.
