Sui Rises After Joining Google’s Agentic Payments Protocol – 16/9/2025
Sui (SUI) surged ahead of the broader crypto market after being named a launch partner for Google’s Agentic Payments Protocol (AP2), a platform enabling AI agents to execute financial transactions on behalf of users.
Over the past 24 hours, SUI climbed nearly 4%, moving from $3.509 to $3.622, compared with a 1% increase for the CoinDesk 20 index. The token is currently trading around $3.63.
The AP2 news added momentum to a token already showing bullish signs. Trading volume jumped to 33.14 million—almost four times the 24-hour average of 8.73 million. Higher intraday lows and steady bids above $3.50 point to potential institutional accumulation.
Intraday, SUI briefly reached $3.65 before dipping to $3.57 and settling near $3.60. Buyers later reclaimed the $3.61–$3.65 range, though reduced volume suggested some profit-taking.
With the Google partnership now live, bulls may target the next resistance zone between $3.70 and $3.75.
