SpaceX Bitcoin Wallet Comes Alive With $153 Million Transfer, Ending Multi-Year Inactivity

SpaceX Moves $153M in Bitcoin, First Activity Since 2022

A Bitcoin wallet associated with SpaceX has transferred 1,308 BTC, valued at approximately $153 million, marking the first on-chain activity from the address in more than three years, according to blockchain intelligence firm Arkham.

The transaction, sent from the address 15oKQ7…i7Jf1G, which Arkham has linked to Elon Musk’s aerospace company, was directed to an inactive and unidentified wallet bc1q8k…phartf. No further movement from the receiving address has been observed.

The last recorded activity from this wallet occurred on June 10, 2022, when it moved 3,505 BTC (then worth around $102 million) to Coinbase.

Despite the latest transaction, SpaceX’s estimated Bitcoin holdings remain substantial at 6,977 BTC, currently worth about $815 million—placing the firm among the top corporate holders globally, behind companies like MicroStrategy and Tesla.

It remains unclear whether the transfer represents a potential sale, an internal fund shuffle, or broader treasury management adjustments. The crypto community is closely watching for any signs of further movement.
