KULR Expands Bitcoin Holdings to 510 BTC, Announces 127% Yield for 2025
KULR Technology Group (KULR), a leader in advanced energy-management systems, has increased its bitcoin (BTC) holdings, spending $8 million to acquire nearly 79 BTC at an average price of $101,695. This brings the company’s total bitcoin investment to $50 million, with a total of 510 tokens now in its possession.
The acquisition follows the company’s announcement on December 4 that it would begin investing a portion of its surplus cash into bitcoin, joining the growing trend of public companies adopting bitcoin as a treasury asset.
KULR reports a remarkable 127% yield on its bitcoin investment this year, calculated based on the percentage change in the ratio of its bitcoin holdings to its full-diluted shares outstanding.
Since making the announcement, KULR’s NYSE-listed shares have surged by 90%, while bitcoin has risen by 7%. As of Tuesday’s pre-market trading, KULR shares were up 2.2%, closing at $2.28 on Friday.
