MARA Holdings Mines 736 BTC in September, Treasury Hits 52,850 BTC
MARA Holdings (MARA) produced 736 Bitcoin in September, up 4% from August, and successfully mined 218 blocks on the Bitcoin network, the company reported Friday.
Despite reporting itself as a net BTC seller during the month as part of its “digital asset management activities,” public data indicate MARA’s Bitcoin holdings grew from 50,639 BTC on August 31 to 52,850 BTC by September 30.
The company remains the second-largest publicly traded corporate Bitcoin treasury, behind only MicroStrategy, which holds 640,031 BTC.
MARA shares were slightly down in Friday’s U.S. trading session.
