Pump.fun Introduces Liquidity Support Desk for Memecoins Amid Financial Dip

Pump.fun Unveils Liquidity Fund to Bolster Memecoin Projects as Revenues Slide

Solana memecoin launchpad Pump.fun has introduced the Glass Full Foundation (GFF), a new vehicle aimed at injecting liquidity into selected ecosystem tokens amid a sharp decline in platform revenues.

According to a statement posted on X, the foundation will “inject significant liquidity into ecosystem tokens to support our most diehard cults,” though details on selection criteria and funding sources remain undisclosed. Initial liquidity deployments have already begun, with further distributions planned.

The move arrives as Pump.fun grapples with dwindling earnings—daily revenue has plunged from more than $7 million in January during the peak of the memecoin craze to around $200,000 earlier this month, per on-chain data.

Leading tokens within the Pump.fun ecosystem include Fartcoin (FART), currently valued at over $1 billion, and Peanut the Squirrel, inspired by a viral social media figure, with a market cap exceeding $253 million.

The initiative also follows increasing competition from LetsBonk.fun, a rival Solana-based launchpad tied to the Bonk community, which recently overtook Pump.fun as the top-performing memecoin issuance platform by both volume and project count.

Through the Glass Full Foundation, Pump.fun aims to stabilize its position in the competitive memecoin space and renew interest in its most active communities.
