K33 Completes Its Inaugural Bitcoin Acquisition as Part of Updated Treasury Approach

K33 Marks First Bitcoin Purchase Under New Treasury Strategy

Sweden-based digital asset brokerage and research firm K33 has completed its inaugural bitcoin acquisition as part of its recently introduced treasury strategy, purchasing 10 BTC for roughly SEK 10 million ($1 million). This transaction represents the first tranche of the company’s SEK 60 million ($6 million) commitment to bitcoin investments.

CEO Torbjørn Bull Jenssen emphasized the firm’s long-term vision: “We anticipate Bitcoin to be the top-performing asset in the coming years, and we plan to grow our balance sheet with bitcoin holdings going forward. This will provide K33 with direct exposure to bitcoin’s price movements and create strong synergies alongside our brokerage services. Our goal is to accumulate at least 1,000 BTC over time and expand further from there.”
