Ethereum Could Top $13K as Early as Q4, According to Analyst; $8K Seen as Conservative Outlook

Ethereum Could Hit $13K in Q4, Analyst Says, as SharpLink Gaming Adds $295M in ETH

A widely followed crypto analyst on X, known by the pseudonym “Wolf,” has outlined a bullish trajectory for Ethereum, projecting that the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency could surge to $13,000 as early as the fourth quarter of 2025. Even in a more moderate scenario, Wolf expects ETH to surpass $8,000, more than double its current value.

In a chart-based forecast posted Friday, Wolf emphasized that ETH may face a 20%–25% correction following its breakout to new all-time highs — a move he describes as a “final shakeout” before Ethereum enters a sustained rally phase.

Meanwhile, institutional participation is accelerating. According to on-chain data from Lookonchain, SharpLink Gaming (NASDAQ: SBET) has increased its Ethereum holdings significantly, purchasing 77,210 ETH — roughly $295 million — in its latest acquisition. The company now holds 438,017 ETH, valued at around $1.69 billion, making it the largest publicly traded corporate holder of Ethereum.

This expansion follows SharpLink’s recent appointment of former BlackRock executive Joseph Chalom as co-CEO and comes just three days after it disclosed earning 567 ETH in staking rewards since launching its ETH strategy in early June.

Sentiment around Ethereum has flipped rapidly. Chris Burniske, partner at Placeholder Ventures, commented that ETH “went from most hated coin to darling of Crypto Twitter in ~5 weeks.” Since June 23, ETH has rallied more than 70%.

As of writing, Ethereum is trading at $3,884, up roughly 2% in the past 24 hours, according to CoinDesk.
