ARK Invest added to its crypto-linked stock holdings on Thursday, committing roughly $18 million across several digital-asset-focused companies.
The firm bought $2 million worth of shares in crypto exchange operator Bullish (BLSH), marking its 10th straight day of accumulating the stock. Bullish — the parent company of CoinDesk — closed 0.53% lower at $31.71. The shares have rebounded from a Feb. 5 low near $24 and have traded around the $30 level in recent sessions, though they remain down more than 16% year-to-date.
According to a disclosure released Friday, the St. Petersburg, Florida-based manager also purchased $12 million in shares of retail trading platform Robinhood (HOOD) and invested $4 million in ether treasury firm Bitmine Immersion Technologies (BMNR).
Robinhood shares slid 8.9% to close at $71.12 as U.S. technology stocks retreated, pressuring risk assets and dragging down Bitcoin. In contrast, Bitmine bucked the broader market weakness, rising 1.39% to end the session at $19.74.
