Internet Computer Rallies 4% Backed by Strong Volume and Increased Developer Support

ICP Rises 4.3% on Surge in Volume and Developer Activity

Internet Computer (ICP) climbed 4.3% in the past 24 hours to hit $5.19, supported by a sharp spike in trading volume and continued momentum from its developer community. The price moved from $4.96 to $5.16, briefly touching an intraday high of $5.19, placing it among the top-performing infrastructure tokens for the day.

The rally gained traction between 18:00 and 21:00 UTC on July 9, when ICP surged from $4.95 to $5.19. Volume peaked at 886,937 tokens at 19:00 UTC — more than double the 24-hour average of 388,671, according to CoinDesk Research. The buying pressure has now formed a new resistance zone near $5.22, a level closely watched by traders for signs of further upside.

On the downside, support held firm between $4.90 and $4.93, with additional bids appearing in the $5.11 to $5.14 range. Holding above $5.15 suggests the market structure remains strong and could pave the way for a fresh breakout attempt.

Backing the rally is ICP’s sustained developer activity. According to Santiment, the network averaged 431.3 daily GitHub events in June — ahead of competitors like NEAR and Filecoin — signaling ongoing growth in its developer ecosystem.
