Bitcoin Cash Futures, Uniswap Contracts and PMI Reports Set to Shape Crypto Markets

The week beginning October 19 brings several developments for cryptocurrency and traditional markets, including planned Bitcoin Cash and Uniswap futures launches, key inflation reports, global business activity surveys and corporate earnings.

CME Group, a leading global derivatives marketplace, is expected to introduce standard and micro futures contracts for Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Uniswap (UNI) on Monday, pending regulatory review.

After last week’s closely watched U.S. inflation data, investors will turn to economic releases from other major economies for further signals about the direction of financial markets.

October’s preliminary Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) readings are scheduled for Friday. These indicators track business conditions across sectors and provide an overview of economic activity.

Earnings reports from companies with crypto-market connections, including Tesla and CME Group, are also due this week, although cryptocurrency represents only part of their broader business exposure.
