Here’s what crypto and traditional markets will be watching during the week of Sept. 21.
Bitcoin is beginning the week with renewed strength, trading near the $84,000 mark after recovering from last week’s Federal Reserve rate decision. The Fed raised its benchmark target to 4.00%, initially triggering a more hawkish market response, but crypto has so far shown resilience.
The economic calendar becomes busier in the middle of the week, with U.S. jobless claims, new home sales and durable goods data among the key releases. Traders will also continue assessing the global monetary-policy outlook after recent decisions from the Bank of Japan and Bank of England.
Meanwhile, developments in tokenized securities will take center stage as the SEC begins its pilot framework for tokenized stocks.
