BlackRock IBIT Secures 62% of Bitcoin ETF Inflows

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs posted $730.8 million in combined net inflows on September 3, with BlackRock’s IBIT generating $454 million. The figure represented more than half of the total capital that entered the funds during the session.

The data provide a detailed look at how investors distributed money across individual Bitcoin ETF products. Since fund-flow figures can change when delayed reports are submitted, the numbers should be treated as tracker estimates for the trading day and may be revised later.

IBIT Dominates September 3 Bitcoin ETF Flows

IBIT was by far the strongest-performing Bitcoin ETF in terms of inflows on September 3. Its $454 million intake significantly exceeded the amounts recorded by other funds.

ARK 21Shares’ ARKB ranked next with $137.7 million in net inflows, while Fidelity’s FBTC attracted $74.4 million. Together, IBIT, ARKB and FBTC accounted for most of the positive capital flows recorded across the spot Bitcoin ETF market that day.

Other funds also ended the session with net inflows. Grayscale’s Bitcoin Mini Trust, identified as BTC in the tracker, received $48.8 million. Bitwise’s BITB brought in $24.8 million, while Grayscale’s GBTC recorded $8.2 million. Morgan Stanley’s MSBT added another $7.7 million.

However, the session was not positive for every ETF. VanEck’s HODL experienced a $19.6 million net outflow, while WisdomTree’s BTCW saw $5.2 million in redemptions.

Three other products — Franklin’s EZBC, Invesco Galaxy’s BTCO and CoinShares’ BRRR — recorded no net flow for the day, according to the tracker.

The strong contribution from IBIT is particularly significant when evaluating the $730.8 million market-wide figure. Although the overall ETF complex posted substantial inflows, the distribution was far from even, with one fund responsible for a large portion of the day’s total.

Still, a single day of ETF activity does not necessarily indicate a sustained trend. Historical flow data show that Bitcoin ETF inflows and outflows can shift sharply between trading sessions, making longer-term trends more important than an isolated daily figure.

For investors analyzing the September 3 results, the key points are the overall net inflow, the amount captured by each ETF issuer and the possibility that the reported figures could be adjusted as additional data become available.

Coinfuty’s tracker monitors daily ETF creations and redemptions, total net assets, Bitcoin held in trust and premiums or discounts to net asset value. The platform says its data are updated once each U.S. trading day. It also notes that a dash may indicate that a fund has yet to report its figures rather than showing that the fund recorded zero flows.
