Strategy Restarts Bitcoin Purchases With $370M Weekly Buy

Strategy has resumed its Bitcoin buying after a roughly two-month pause, marking its first purchase since late June.

The Michael Saylor-led company acquired 4,603 BTC last week for about $369.7 million, paying an average of $80,318 per Bitcoin.

Strategy funded the acquisition by selling $602.8 million in common stock, according to a Monday press release. Of the remaining proceeds, $151.8 million was allocated to repurchasing STRC preferred shares, with the rest added to the company’s cash reserves.

The latest purchase brings Strategy’s total Bitcoin holdings to 845,050 BTC. The company has spent approximately $63.73 billion on its Bitcoin stash, representing an average acquisition cost of $75,412 per coin.

MSTR shares gained 1.65% in premarket trading, while Bitcoin was hovering around $78,400, slightly above Friday’s closing level.
